March 2010 will see 60163 Tornado return to the Great Central Railway for a 3 week period.

The A1 locomotive will be a star turn at the heritage line’s gala over the weekend of 26th-28th March.

Tornado first appeared at the GCR, for running in, during 2008 and made full use of the 8 mile line which connects Loughborough with Leicester North. Since then 60163, which was constructed last year, has been a major crowd puller wherever she has appeared, either on the mainline or on heritage lines.
