Arriva faces possibility of take over
Arrivia, in a Stock Exchange announcement, has confirmed that Deutsche Bahn has made an approach regarding a possible offer for the company.
The move, which has seen Arriva’s shares leap, follows the break down of merger talks between French operator SNCF and Arriva.
Arriva hold the CrossCountry and Arriva Trains Wales franchises as well as operating buses across the Midlands and in the South East.
