Russian Railways is choosing a name for the suburban Desiro trains manufactured by Siemens AG that will be serving passengers during the XXII Winter Olympic Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games to be held in Sochi in 2014.

Suburban modular trains built on the Desiro platform will carry participants, spectators and guests of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games from the airport and train station to the sport venues, and also on the Tuapse – Adler line.

Suggestions of names for the trains can be submitted within two weeks on the official Russian Railways site. After all suggestions have been submitted, the company will organize a vote to decide the winning name.
