Virgin offer discount to charity staff

From 13th August Virgin Trains will offer charity workers a 20% discount on advanced train tickets for any journey that is related to their work.

The offer covers all its routes and includes journeys during peak periods. In order to qualify for the discount staff working for the organisation must receive at least 10% of their income from voluntary sources and must also register as a charity with Virgin Trains.

Staff making use of the scheme must have identification with them or a letter of authorisation to prove that their journey is being made in relation to their work.
