First ScotRail class 380 due to arrive in UK on Friday

The first Siemens built class 380 is expected to arrive in the UK, via the Channel Tunnel, this coming Friday.

Delivery of the class, which will officially enter passenger service in September, will be at the rate of 2 a week once the delivery schedule is ramped up.

Their introduction will result in an additional 7,500 seats being added to the ScotRail Network and will see older stock cascaded.

The large windows of the new trains allow natural light to flood in and the  vehicles offer an extremely smooth ride for passengers.

Hi, Im a fan of Electric Trains and Electrostars are my best ones but Desiros are also my best trains and the trains I travel on are the Class 360′s in Essex and Im a regular traveller with a huge amount of the beloved railway in my life.

I love what Siemens do to build a eco-friendly Desiro train either diesel or electric (dual voltage aswell).

Bombardier are great english train company with a new look on Turbostars and Electrostars but siemens Desiros are the best.

1 thing, did Siemens actually build Networkers, Class 332/333 and the Class 323.
