Car users urged to take the train

For next Wednesday’s Town Without My Car Day Arriva Trains Wales are asking commuters, who would normally use their car, to take the train instead.

ATW point out that factoring in road works, traffic jams, running costs and petrol prices can often make the train not only a cheaper alternative, but a greener one as well. The train company also highlighted that very often the easy bit is walking from your front door to the car, with driving to work being the real challenge.
