First MTU fitted Grand Central HST power cars enter service

The first of Grand Central’s MTU fitted HST power cars have entered passenger service.

Their entry into service coincided with the launch of the train operator’s first set of refurbished carriages, which also received GC’s new livery.

Taking the place of 43468 and 43480 at Brush are 43065 and 43067, which should return to service in around 3 months.
