New roof for Marylebone

The roof of London Marylebon’s grade II listed station has been refurbished by Morgan Sindall in a £4m Network Rail project.

The 150 metre long station shed roof covers four of the station’s 6 platforms and the station remained open during the works. As part of the scheme, which saw 2,160 square metres of new glazing installed, the station also had new lighting installed and the structural steel work was refurbished.

Later this year a new public announcement system is to be installed at the station.
